Kodak EasyShare CX7530 [5MP 3xOptical]

New Price: £105.00

Review for Kodak EasyShare CX7530 [5MP 3xOptical]:
Superb!
I totally recommend this camera. The image quality both with and without the zoom is superb. The video function is also top class although I rarely use the video on the camera.

Kodak CX7530 is simple and easy to use. The only problem is that it is a bit fussy on batteries. I tried Panasonic ones but they wouldn't work. Fortunately, a local shop sells kodak batteries and as the camera only needs 2xAA, it isn't a problem.

Chuffed to bits with this purchase and will use the camera for a long time! Recommended 100%!

Kodak EasyShare C330 Digital Camera [4MP, 3 x Optical Zoom]

Used Price: £50.00

Review for Kodak EasyShare C330 Digital Camera [4MP, 3 x Optical Zoom]:
perfect pocket snapper
I bought one of these for my daughter for her seventh birthday, and it is just so simple to use. I already had a higher spec Kodak Z740 digital myself, but this produces results just as good in almost every situation. It is a little slow getting going I have to admit, but for general purpose photography it is a little cracker. Yes it won't handle the same situations as an SLR, but how many people really need or want that sort of functionality? For most people, this will produce excellent pictures all the time, and this will encourage you to keep taking pictures. Printing up to A4 size on photopaper at home shows almost no discernible grain. For those people who dislike the Kodak software, there is a simple solution. Don't use it! I didn't even install it on my computer. I simply use a card reader to transfer pictures to my hard drive and use the other photo editing suites I have. Problem solved! Build quality seems very good, and although the body is mostly plastic, it is quite durable if looked after. This has the advantage of making it light to carry. The picture and scenic modes are simplicity itself. Now the price has gone down it really is a bargain.

Kodak EasyShare C433 Digital Camera ( 4MP, 3 x Optical Zoom )

New Price: £150.00

Review for Kodak EasyShare C433 Digital Camera ( 4MP, 3 x Optical Zoom ):
Flippin' Brilliant!!!!
This is the best digital I've ever had or even seen! It's got settings for all sorts (bright beach scenes, bright snow scenes, fireworks), the zooms good, the pics are easy to download, you can take videos with sound, and its just the right size to fit in your pocket too.
The only two downsides (and these are pretty insignifigant, but I think I should include them) when you play back the videos on the camera there is no sound, and it doesn't come with a case. But you don't really need to listen to the videos right there and then and I easily found a case the right size for it.
Either way, it has joined my wallet, my iPod, my penknife and my mobile, in the things I have with me at all times.
I would recommend this to anyone!

Kodak EASYSHARE C340 - Digital camera - 5.0 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: MMC, SD

Used Price: £45.99

Review for Kodak EASYSHARE C340 - Digital camera - 5.0 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: MMC, SD:
Easy to use camera
We bought this camera for our 7 year old daughter's birthday.
She loves it, has found it very easy to use - likes taking portraits, landscapes and flower photos. Has managed to take colour and monochrome photos and videos, all by herself. Even digital scared Grandma has been converted by this camera.
As Digital SLR user, I have also been know to get this camera out for quick snaps. Print quality on our photo printer very acceptable.
Particularly wanted the direct connection to the TV to do photo slide shows while on holiday - which was hard to find on other cameras around this price.
A great little camera - I'd recommend to anyone looking for an entry level camera for themselves or a child.

Kodak Z700 Digital Camera [4MP, 5 x Optical Zoom]

New Price: £77.99

Review for Kodak Z700 Digital Camera [4MP, 5 x Optical Zoom]:
Kodak Z700
I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband, and we are novices when it comes to digital cameras. We found this to be very easy to use, and the clarity of the pictures is excellent. One tip, make sure you buy the best battery available as it lasts for ages- and NEVER use AA alkaline, they only last for approx 10 pictures!!

Kodak EasyShare C875 Digital Camera - Silver (8MP, 5x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD

Used Price: £71.99

Review for Kodak EasyShare C875 Digital Camera - Silver (8MP, 5x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD:
okay for very ameuters but DONT use at weddings or important events!!!!
now before i slag this camera off, it has great features...

5x optical zoom
5x digital zoom
8mp camera.................... sounds good rite? thats what i thought when i bought it from currys. however..... it is very bulky and not at all easy to carry on your holidays. i had to hold it all day as its so big it doesnt fit in shorts pockets!!!! the pics come out horribly dark and the flash range is very short... you need alot of light to be able to take good pictures. the money spent on AA batteries is ridiculous, if you want a GOOD , reliable and QUALITY camera i personally reccomend the FUJIFILM FINEPIX F40 FD WHICH IS AVAILABLE ON AMAZON AND ITS WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! HOPE THIS HELPED...!

Kodak Easyshare DX7590 Zoom Digital Camera

New Price: £184.99

Review for Kodak Easyshare DX7590 Zoom Digital Camera:
Excellent zoom, easy to use, great results
I bought this camera for the 10x optical zoom and because reviews said it was easy to use. The reviews were right: the camera itself is intuitive to use in automatic mode, or you can also use shutter- or aperture-priority settings for more creativity. The handbook supplied is also a model of clarity. The zoom is equivalent to an old-fashioned 300mm. The Easyshare software simply works: it loaded straight onto my PC and the pictures from the camera followed down the supplied connecting cable, no problem (no need for a docking station). You can also order prints on-line using the pre-loaded software, eg through Bonusprint in the UK. The quality of the shots is excellent, both as large prints and on my 17" screen. The unit has a solid, quality feel, like a miniature SLR.

Downside: the camera is a bit big to go in most pockets. No wrist-strap.

Extras: worth getting a 512 MB SD card and a spare battery (the Kodak KLIC-5001 Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery 1800mAh for DX & Z Series). Both are expensive but worth it to make sure you don’t run out of space or power.

Kodak P880 Digital Camera [8MP, 5x optical]

New Price: £228.92

Review for Kodak P880 Digital Camera [8MP, 5x optical]:
Great camera (with a few niggles)
Firstly, I agree with all the positives mentioned in other reviews - it takes an excellent photo, user interface is easy to use, with a nice selection of task specific buttons, good selection of modes etc. I am very pleased with it, especially considering that it seems to be about half the price of other, similar spec camera.

Now the niggles. It is annoying that the maximum exposure time is only 16 seconds - my previous Kodak camera, a 7630, went up to 64 seconds, and was great for shots of starry skies.

Then there is the amount of storage required for video - I can just about get 10 minutes on a 512Mb card. Cameras using formats other than QuickTime manage greatly more than this, and it would be nice to have the option, as we now do, to a certain extent, with photos.

Finally, a word of warning about the patch. Yes it improves certain operations - auto-focus speed, for example - but there is a bug in the patch with causes certain modes - auto for example - to forget the picture quality setting - Fine, Standard, or Basic - and return to the default of Standard. I have configured the 'Prog' button on mine to take me to the picture quality menu, so that I can switch back easily. Kodak are aware of this problem, and claim it will be fixed in the next patch - whenever that is - but it is worth bearing in mind if you apply the patch.

However, aside from the aforementioned niggles, still a nice camera.

Kodak EasyShare Z612 [6 MP, 12x Optical Zoom]

Used Price: £154.99
New Price: £169.99

Review for Kodak EasyShare Z612 [6 MP, 12x Optical Zoom]:
Great camera...but buyer beware!!
I bought this camera back in February last year only 16 months ago. I was upgrading from my old compact. It was a gem, straight out of the box, super photos, excellent zoom and image stabalisation. It worked in every condition indoors, outdoors, low light, bright light, sports and action photos.

I was well impressed with how it performed but one day whilst shooting photos at a wedding it just shut off. The electronics just powered off, none of my batteries on full power could not turn it back on.

I took it to be repaired and was told that the electronics inside had just burnt out - the repair would be £100 to send to Kodak.

BEWARE if you buy, it might just stop working on you.

Excellent value and easy to use
We purchased this camera in April 06 and have used it for our estate agent business. The quality of the photos are superb and as we were upgrading our digital camera wanted something easy to use. This is so easy and straight forward. Great for beginners and also great value for money.
You will not be disappointed if you buy one.
